The Grade10 Festival drew a record 23,000 attendees to Wan Chai, underscoring Hong Kong's rise as a hub for collectors pursuing vintage Pokémon rarities, sports cards, and pop-culture collectibles.
The event centerpiece was a world-first installation of more than 400 PSA 10-graded Pikachu with Grey Felt Hat cards arranged as a wall valued at around HK$5 million.
The card, originally released through the Pokémon collaboration with the Van Gogh Museum, became a symbol of how nostalgia, pop culture, and investment-grade collectibles are converging.
The release highlights Grade10's role in turning card culture into a public-facing cultural event, backed by MemeStrategy and the team behind 9GAG.
